One of the things that I get asked a lot is, "Hows the dog?" So, I thought I would make her famous by including her in the blog. She is a Chinese Pug and now she's 13 years old. I got her when she was a 5 week old puppy and she's been with me ever since. She was born in Georgia, moved with me all the way across the country to Utah, and then to Ohio. She has traveled the country serveral times by car, truck, and plane. She was the center of attention to many missions groups that came to visit me in Utah. Now she is older, getting slower, having a hard time making it up the stairs, but she is still doing ok for the moment. She still gets excited when i say, Let's go outside." She gets really excited when I come home! Those of you who aren't animal lovers just won't understand.

For some reason, today I was thinking about some of the people in my life who have been a tremendous influence to me. I became a Christian in August of 1989 through the efforts of a man who lived out his Christianity in front of me. It was at this time in my life that I started to search for answers to questions that had gripped my thoughts.
