I used to enjoy going to the dentist. That might sound weird to most people who will read this. When I was a kid growing up in Georgia, my family used to go to Dr. Savage. Dr. Savage was ok, but the person that we all really liked was Otis! He was the dental hygenist. Otis always remembered us and joked around with us, and he did a great job cleaning our teeth. He told us that he hoped we would give him some "vacation money." Vacation money to Otis was cavaties. We knew he was joking -- sort of. The greatest thing about Otis was that he made you feel like a friend, and you just couldn't wait to see him again.

Well, that was then . . . and . . . things change. Ever since Otis retired I have never really enjoyed going to the Dentist. Who does? (more)
