We had a great time at the fish fry tonight! More than 50 people came to the activity and we ate over 200 pieces of fish. Hats off to Richard and Rick for cooking the fish and to the Urban’s for opening their home. Lynn did manage to sneak in some tofu, and she tried her best to manipulate me into eating it. Actually it wasn’t too bad. Thanks to the Walker's also -- for all of their help. The fries were delicious!
Thanks to Jeff Wenger for introducing us to chacha.com! Fun was had by all as we asked cha cha questions from light bulbs to culottes. Can’t wait for the next event!

I have been thinking about our ABF class all day today. I have given much thought to the question Pastor Neal asked. “Is the Bible as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago”. In other words has the Bible grown old. I have heard this statement before. If you choose to not obey the full Bible in it’s full context. You have no hope. If you feel that the Bible is out date in areas, you are saying that you are smarter than God. You are saying that you have more wisdom than God. I am not willing to say that. You are also saying God is not all knowing. And that He is not in control. If God is not in control or all knowing in all areas, how do you know that your salvation is secure? What I have received out of these recent lessons, is that I need to take the Bible more seriously. I need to be more conservative. Sunday, was a great day for me in that I realized I need to live outside the Christian bubble but inside the laws and rules of God with no room to wiggle, regardless of what it might cost me. Just a thought – Scott Urban

Thanks Scott. That’s excellent input. We all need to live outside of our bubble — or as Sundays guest speaker put it —our box. But we also need to understand that we should be Biblical when we do it. The whole Bible, for the whole man.
